Week 5 - Blog Post - Bubble Lettering

So I started this activity with the 70’s themed bubble lettering. I have always like that and have created art before that used this style of lettering. Adding the dots shows my other favorite style of painting. Puffy paint, although not the coolest thing is a form of “painting” that I find to be theraputic. I have painted pallets, canvases, crates, and so many other items using dots with puffy paint and I always love how it turns out. So as you know my name Kolbe is my first name from birth. However this is not the name that I prefer to go by or am called by my parents and friends. So as I was creating the bubble lettered Kolbe I thought… why did I not do Peyton. So after taking the first picture I decided to use a paint brush and go over the puffy and spell out my preferred name. Kolbe will always be there but Peyton my middle name and the name that I feel that describes me and is more me. I really enjoyed this activity and will probably recreate this using a canvas for my room.
